• White and dyed printed fabrics should be soaked or washed separately.
• For stitching garments advice tailor not to use white lining cloth containing optical whitening agent as it is likely to spoil the shade during washing.
• Advice tailor to use double-press collar & cuffs for better & long-lasting finish.
• Wash garments inside out for protection of outer surface.
• For washing, soak the cloth for maximum 30 minutes in cold or lukewarm water having necessary amount of good (neutral) soap.
• For removal of stains, rub gently. Avoid vigorous rubbing.
• Ensure detergent or soap is thoroughly removed from the fabric by using sufficient water, otherwise discoloring may take place in sunlight or after ironing.
• Never use bleaching agent and optical whitening agents (bleaching powder, tinopal etc.) during washing, as these causes patches on cloth.
• Do not dry under direct sunlight as the color may fade. Tumble dry or line dry in shade. Dry inside out.
• To crease is an inherent property of cotton & linen. To facilitate crease removal, fabrics should be moistened enough prior to ironing.
